Consists of 12 hours of Impaired Driving Education classes with face to face instruction. Completed with six (6) weeks of consecutive 2-hour classes.
Consists of 24 hours of Impaired Driving Education classes with face to face instruction. Completed with twelve (12) weeks of consecutive 2-hour classes.
Intake and assessments are conducted on Saturdays between the hours of 9am and 2pm. Individual appointments can also be made in the evenings from 4-6 by appointment only. Receive $10 off your intake by printing off and filling out ALL intake forms found under the class schedule and register links. Bringing completed forms and all court documents with you to your intake appointment will be a beneficial part of ensuring a smooth and timely process.
Clients will receive credit for completed classes and therapy with the Colorado Court System as well as the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles.
Colorado Addictions Consulting is licensed by the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health to conduct Impaired Driving Education Classes and Level II Therapy Groups. Enhanced Outpatient Therapy (EOP) and Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP) sessions are also available.
All tracks must be completed in 2-hour group sessions, one time per week.
Consists of 42 hours of group participation completed over 21 consecutive weeks. This is achieved by attending one, 2 hour session per week for 21 weeks. Track A is usually assigned to a first time offender with a B.A.C. below .15
Consists of 52 hours of group participation over 26 consecutive weeks. This is achieved by attending one, 2 hour session per week for 26 weeks. Track B is usually assigned to a first time offender with a B.A.C. above .15 or refusal.
Consists of 68 hours of group participation over 34 consecutive weeks. This is achieved by attending one, 2 hour session per week for 34 weeks. Track C is usually for someone with a prior DWAI/DUI, BUI or FUI with a B.A.C. below .15
Consists of 86 hours of group participation over 43 consecutive weeks. This is achieved by attending one, 2 hour session per week for 43 weeks. Track D is usually assigned for someone with a prior DWAI/DUI BUI or FUI with a B.A.C. above .15 or refusal.
Level II Enhanced Outpatient Therapy (EOP or IOP) shall include a minimum of three (3) to a maximum of eight (8) hours of treatment to be conducted over a minimum of two (2) days per week. Enhanced outpatient services shall be in addition to any DUI/DWAI level or track requirement and shall be a minimum 90 days. Additional treatment will be based on service review.

By combining proven addiction therapy treatment methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, 12 step integration, motivational interviewing, addiction counseling and positive peer culture we are able to create personalized treatment plans that are based on each clients personal needs.
The Colorado Impaired Driver Program (IDEP) curriculum is accepted statewide by probation and the courts for all DWAI and DUI, BUI and FUI offenses. The training sessions includes a review of behavior change theory, content review and group facilitation practice.
